Sometime, Sometimes এবং Some time ব্যবহারের সহজ নিয়ম
Sometime একটি ইংরেজি শব্দ। এখানে Some এবং Time এই দুটি শব্দ একত্রে বা যুক্ত থাকে যার বাংলায় অর্থ একদা, পূর্বে, প্রাক্তন, কোনো এক সময় বুঝায়। Sometime এর আরো কয়েকটি ইংরেজি সমর্থক শব্দ হলো- at some unspecified or unknown time, former, an indefinite time, at a time in the future, occasional, at a time in the past that is not known or not stated, or (especially of a job or position) in the past but not any longer। নিম্নের বাক্যগুলোতে Sometime এর ব্যবহার লক্ষ্য করুন।

Sometimes এর বাংলা অর্থ কখনো ‘কখোনো কখনো’, ‘মাঝে মাঝে’। Sometime এর সাথে ‘s’ যুক্ত হওয়ার ফলে এর অর্থ ভিন্ন হয়ে যায়। তবে এটি plural ‘s’ নয়। এটি সমস্তটাই একটি পূর্ণ অর্থবোধক শব্দ। Sometimes এর আরো কয়েকটি ইংরেজি সমর্থক শব্দ হলো- occasionally, infrequently, not very often, from time to time, now and then, every so often, once in a while, on occasion, at times, off and on, at intervals, periodically, sporadically, spasmodically, intermittently. নিম্নের বাক্যগুলোতে Sometimes এর ব্যবহারগুলো লক্ষ্য করুন।
